Help me give my students sensory materials such as beads, balls, and rings to use with our light table.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Fish's classroom raised $424

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are energetic kindergartners who are full of life. They are sweet, smart, and incredibly ready to learn! They are like little sponges, coming in each day, ready to grow and understand even more about their world!
My students are hard workers who love the arts.
I want to inspire them to be more creative and to take more risks. I want them to dream big and know that hard work will help them succeed in everything they do!
My Project
Sensory input is fun and exciting for students. By adding sensory materials to our sensory and light tables, I will be able to provide more opportunities for them to explore different textures and add sensory activities in our school day.
Sensory play also provides more fine motor development and creativity during play.
By using different sensory materials, students will be able to use their imagination and will develop oral language to play together. I'll be able to have several centers where sensory input is happening while also combining it with activities that reinforce the academic skills we are learning in school. For example, addition problem locks can be added to the sensory table for students to find a key, solve the problem, and then find the hidden lock that has the correct answer.
More than half of students from low‑income households
