Light Up Our Learning

Help me give my students a light table and accessories to expand on what we are learning by creating a multi sensory experience.

My Project

The students in my classroom engage and learn through open ended activities all day. They are a joyful group of children who show up happy and eager to learn. I would love to allow them the opportunity to engage in learning with multiple sensory outputs throughout the day.

The light table and accessories will enhance their learning process with the lighted surface, drawing them in to engage in fine motor development, scientific discovery, and improve their observation skills.

The lights from the table will also spark their imagination and allow subtle details about the materials to be noticed. The table can be used to enhance all areas of learning in our classroom, science, math, literacy, fine motor, and STEM.

The light table will be used to enhance the lessons in our curriculum. I will add items to the table that tie back into our lessons, provoke questions, and encourage play based learning.
