This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is made up of 18 eager-to-learn students. This is many of my students' first time in a school setting. My students live in a community that is a high need​, low-income area made up of hard-working parents who set amazing examples for their children. Additionally, we have many students who have been living in homeless shelters their whole lives.

My students want to learn and develop and understand what school is about while having fun.

With support, I will be able to bring in new, innovative ways to keep my students engaged.

With our school losing over a million dollars from the school budget for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school year, we need your help now more than ever!

My Project

With your generous donation my students will be able to explore light and how how light can help us. My students who are learning to write letters and numbers will get to see the different parts that go to together to make letters and numbers. The students will get to see how blocks are held together and inter connected.

Your generosity can help to inspire the next generation of doctors and veterinarians by allowing them to see x-rays.

Thank you for caring about my students and giving them the change to develop their understanding of letters, numbers, science and light.
