This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a special day class with grade Kinder-2nd. I have students with a wide range of disabilities and they are kinesthetic learners. I teach a special day class of 15 students with a wide range of disabilities. They are kinesthetic learners and benefit from multi-modality forms of learning to stay engaged and motivated to learn.
A light table would be a great addition to the class because it would be a fun and engaging way for my students to learn skills.
If we can get the light table, we can add accessories for our phonics centers, math centers, and STEM activities. This will also help them work collaboratively and build language in centers.
