What I love most about my Pre-K students is that they have created a school family filled with kindness and love of others. They have worked very hard at creating this environment through increasing their social and emotional and self-regulation skills. It has been a joy seeing their growth and development. We see each other as a valuable member of our school family and are always willing to help others who may be in need. We are always working on being of service to others.
My Project
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase our students attention span and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. A light table will help enhance literacy, math, fine motor and writing skills in fun and playful ways. Children are naturally drawn to the gentle glow of the light table and will stay there for long periods of time, which is great for stretching those budding attention spans. Furthermore, I have a great deal of materials that I can begin using right away on the light box. It is an amazing learn tool that all children can benefit from and engage together in learning and exploring.
