This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have a mobile population and are constantly receiving new students. This fact, along with constant use of our water bottles, headphones and highlighters, has created a need for restocking of these critical items. The headphones help them concentrate while working in close proximity to others. Our water fountains have been locked since COVID began. Therefore they each need their own refillable water bottles. We live in a hot part of the country and hydration is crucial. When students read, they use highlighters to mark important points on their tests. These highlighters also help students with Dyslexia see the print better.
