My Students

I am a teacher in a small rural school with 17 wonderful pre school students. My classroom is filled with lots of energetic and active kids that never seize to amaze me. Working in a low income school really pushes me to be the best teacher I can be for these kids and to make sure I have the tools and resources in my classroom to teach them in a hands on way that I know they learn best by doing so.

My Project

“Light up Learning!” For my pre-school classroom I would like to provide my students with a light table.

A light table is a fun-creative way to teach students shapes, letters, numbers, colors, and creative thinking skills!

A lot of students need the hands-on learning, especially in times like today where students can not get out of the house as much because of COVID. With putting this light table in my pre-schools classroom will give the students this hands on learning they need to thrive in learning their new skills.
