Help me give my students Hot Dots flash cards and activity books to reinforce their emerging skills. These materials are an engaging way to practice necessary, foundational concepts.
In my classroom, I employ many different methods of helping children learn based on their learning styles and research on best practices. I believe students learn best when academic areas are integrated in a hands-on, meaningful way!

My students are active kids that require a variety of teaching methods to motivate them to learn at their full potential. They learn best when the activities presented are highly-engaging and allow them to work on meaningful tasks.
My Project
My students need many opportunities to practice their emerging skills. Flash cards and other rote methods can be boring and mundane. My students love using the few Hot Dot materials we do have as they work on the concepts they are learning. Hot Dot materials offer instant feedback for students as they study. The Hot Dot cards and pens add an extra motivation to keep them engaged as they learn math facts, phonics concepts, basic reading skills and vocabulary. We are requesting Hot Dot flash cards for addition, subtraction, multiplication, math word problems and math vocabulary. For literacy, we are hoping for the Jr. Phonics fun kit, Informational Text Reading Cards, the Alphabet cards and Academic Vocabulary card set. We are also asking for 4 additional Hot Dot pens so that several children can work with the same set at the same time.
We only have one pen and two books now and it's not enough for all of my students.
By adding more cards and more pens to our classroom, all children will be able to participate and work on the skills they each need in order to be successful! These materials would really build excitement in practicing basic concepts!
