Light Up for Learning!

Help me give my students the Lakeshore tabletop light panels and accessories, to provide them with a fun way to learn their ABCs, 123s and everything in between!

My Project

The Lakeshore tabletop light panels will be perfect for our small group rotations in kindergarten. When a translucent object is placed onto the panel, it lights up in a bright color. I can’t think of a more engaging way to introduce and reinforce colors, shapes, letters and numbers to Kindergarten students!

The Lakeshore accessories I am requesting with the Lakeshore tabletop light panels, will help my students to achieve their goals in reading and math.

These include letter recognition, number recognition, counting skills, color recognition, and shape recognition. The accessories are large translucent letters, numbers and pattern blocks.

The Lakeshore tabletop light panels will also compliment the Lakeshore phonics and math tiles we generously received from my first DonorsChoose project.

My students have big imaginations, and they love building and creating. They would be so appreciative to have this special activity in our classroom! Many of my students will never have an opportunity to use a unique learning tool like this. Kindergarten is a significant year in a child’s education. Help us make it fun and memorable. Let’s “Light Up for Learning” at our school!
