Light Panel Learners

Help me give my students two light panels for exploration and discovery through sensory experiences.

My Project

Pre-K students are all about playing, hands-on activities, and lots of exploration. Singing, playtime, art projects, and read-aloud stories are some favorite parts of their day. They are thoughtful, engaged, and always eager to come to school.

I strive to provide a welcoming environment where my students feel safe, encouraged, and loved as they learn through play.

A light table will allow my students to explore freely with color, building, and their senses using translucent materials. Students will improve their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and color recognition as they play. Children will explore numbers, counting, sorting, shapes, and patterning with the math supplies. They will also learn about letters, mix colors, and experiment with translucent building blocks. The light table will be a stimulating and enriching addition to our classroom.
