it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our art and ceramics room serves as a hub of creativity and learning for our students. However, we have encountered a challenge with the fluorescent lighting in this space. The current lighting emits a harsh and bright glow, which can be disruptive and uncomfortable for our students as they engage in their artistic pursuits. Unfortunately, unlike other areas of the school, we do not have the means to dim these lights, leaving our students susceptible to headaches and difficulty maintaining focus.
To address this issue and create a more conducive environment for our students, we are seeking donations to acquire light covers for the fluorescent fixtures in our creative spaces.
These covers would help diffuse the harshness of the light, providing a softer and more comfortable illumination that supports creativity and concentration. By installing these covers, we aim to enhance the overall experience of our students and alleviate the strain on their eyes, ultimately fostering a space where they can fully immerse themselves in their artistic endeavors.
