Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school is a Title 1, at-risk school, with a population of over 70% English Language Learners.
My students come to school to be loved, laugh, learn, and to eat a healthy meal.
We provide 100% free breakfast and lunch for our students. We are working very hard to accomplish our dreams, goals, and most importantly graduating college and becoming successful. My favorite thing in the world is to see students who love to learn and it all starts in Kindergarten.
My Project
With the folder games, alphabet games, and sight word games I have requested, my students will be able to practice important reading skills they must have in a hands-on kind of way. I believe children learn the best when they don't even realize they are learning. My goal is to keep things fun, exciting, and completely hands-on in my classroom. These games will bring a little life and excitement into our room.
I have 26 bubbly, happy, and eager students that are ready to learn each and every day.
Providing them with the opportunity to play and learn with these games will leave an everlasting impression on Kindergarten and learning.
