This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students often ask me if we can turn one of the lights off in our classroom because the fluorescent lights are so bright. Some of my students get headaches from the bright lights, and I myself suffer from migraines as well.
My students need fluorescent light diffusers for each of the lights in our classroom so that the lighting isn't as harsh on their eyes and so that they can have a more calming learning environment.
We have a calming room on our campus that has some of these light covers in it and the students absolutely LOVE them. They instantly feel calmer when they walk into this room.
