My Project
I am continually inspired by my students’ creativity, curiosity, and resilience. They come to class eager to learn, embracing new challenges with determination, even when resources are scarce. As dreamers, thinkers, and innovators, they thrive when given the opportunity to express themselves in meaningful ways. Coming from a diverse Title I school, many of my students are underrepresented in the STEAM fields, yet they demonstrate remarkable potential when given the right tools to explore their talents. What sets them apart is their enthusiasm for learning and their ability to collaborate and problem-solve, overcoming obstacles both inside and outside the classroom.
The HUE Animation Studio: Complete Stop Motion Kit will empower my students to transform their ideas into creative, hands-on projects.
This resource blends art, storytelling, and technology, enabling students to produce stop-motion animations that showcase their understanding across various subjects. More than just a fun activity, it’s a powerful tool for developing critical thinking, collaboration, and technical skills. Through storyboarding, character creation, and animation, students will gain foundational design, technology, and communication knowledge.
My goal with this project is to provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences that bridge creativity and technology. I want my students to see themselves as creators and problem-solvers, capable of bringing their ideas to life. These resources will ignite their imaginations, build their confidence, and equip them with valuable skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
