My Project

My students have so much to share, but it can be hard to hear their brilliant ideas. Many of my first graders are just discovering their voices and learning that what they say has value. I often find myself asking them to speak up or say their thought again; this can be intimidating and discouraging to those that are a little insecure.

Help me give my students a voice!

By donating towards my karaoke machine/portable PA system campaign, you will give me a tool to boost my students' sound level and confidence when answering questions, sharing connections, and presenting student created books and research. The idea of getting to use a microphone will also raise class engagement and maybe, just maybe help students have more courage to speak up and share.
