This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Reading, writing and arithmetic are not enough to be successful in life. Students need character education development in order to be well rounded productive citizens.

My students attend an inner city school with a strong history of academic success.

Since I serve as the school counselor, I have the opportunity to contribute to the lives of each student in the school. The students enjoy attending bi-weekly guidance lessons in which they are taught skills that will be used for a lifetime!

My Project

Students are challenged academically in the classroom, so it's important that the guidance lessons students receive from me are fun, interactive and interesting. The resources included in this project include character development bingo games and social skills board games. These games will allow the students to have fun and develop character skills at the same time.

Your support will help every student in my school learn life skills 101; including basic life skills that are necessary for a successful future!

It will help me to help the students as I keep in mind, " To teach is to touch a life forever!"
