My students are eager young learners who love to learn in a variety of ways. They come to school each day ready to learn and are excited to see what each day will bring.
My biggest challenge as a teacher today is making sure I have the supplies necessary in my classroom.
Budget cuts have impacted the classroom tremendously and made it very difficult to provide a classroom environment conducive to learning.

My Project
My classroom needs a bookshelf to store the books from my classroom library. Students are always wanting to read and want a lot of different options. Having a bookshelf will help me organize my library books for my students.
Kids love to read, but are hard on books.
I am also asking for book tape so that I can reinforce my library books for my classroom so they will last longer. The paperback books in my classroom especially get damaged easily if I do not reinforce them with book tape first. I am also able to repair older books so that they can last longer.
