My Project
My student-leaders are eager to access and manage a classroom library with diverse texts that suit their interests and needs. Students will gain the experience of managing their own classroom library, encouraging their classmates to read all while improving their own literacy with new and exciting reading materials.
Goals for this project include but are not limited to:
- Expanded and diverse classroom library
- Functional, student-led library organization and collaboration
- Overall improved literacy and comprehension among students
- Providing opportunities that promote lifelong, curious learners
My students are leaders! At our school, students are eager and encouraged to take charge of their learning; we not only support student-leaders, but students support the growth of their peers as well. With a current, diverse classroom library, all students and student interests will be reached; students will also be provided the opportunity to explore new stories and topics.
