Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are special education students from grades 2nd-5th who deserve the world. They are engaging, intelligent, funny, and our time together is never boring! I'd like to enhance our space with some materials to meet their sensory needs, including a light table and a sensory table with filler. These materials provide visual and tactile stimulation that can either soothe or alert students depending on the use. I will love the opportunity to help my students . They deserve this and so much more. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
Sensory activities will promote inclusion and help our students regulate emotions to be more successful in the classroom.
Building activities, sensory avocados, sensory sandwich, and a sensory hedgehog will help with fine motor skills and well as emotional regulation. Any and all donations to our project will be appreciated.
