My Project
These supplies will ensure that we have the tools necessary to equip our students with life skills lessons and overall personal success. We are a self-contained EDP and our students don't always get real-life experiences due to their emotional concerns. This project will allow us to fill some of that void with knowledge and experiences that will be with them for a lifetime. Feeling confident about day-to-day living and having the skills needed to live independently is a dream for many of my students. We will be working on nutrition, reading-making connections to our feelings, and managing independent behaviors. The students this year and next will be able to experience more typical class activities in several areas, math, reading, social studies, and science. The students also need to have access to sensory items and other resources to manage their behavior.
