it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students with Autism need supplies to practice life skills and sensory objects to regulate emotions because these tools can help support their development and well-being.
Students with autism require additional support and practice to develop essential life skills.
Having access to supplies to help them practice basic motor skills can help them better understand and navigate daily routines. These supplies can also aid in building independence and confidence in completing tasks.
My students experience sensory sensitivities and have difficulties regulating their emotions. Sensory objects, such as stress balls, fidget toys, weighted blankets, and sensory bins, can provide comfort and help regulate emotions by providing tactile stimulation and a sense of calm. These objects can also serve as coping mechanisms during times of stress.
Overall, providing autism students with the necessary supplies for practicing life skills and sensory objects for regulating emotions can create a supportive environment that promotes their learning, growth, and emotional well-being.
