This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our life science unit is well loved by my first graders because of how many real life experiments we are able to do. We get butterflies from our PTO and plant pinto beans to grow plants.

After our science projects are done, we lack other activities to grow our understanding of plants and life cycles.

Please support us in adding more hands on activities about plants and life cycles so we can continue to learn after our living things have been taken home or released. We want our stations to include some of these activities listed below so we can be more and more like scientists every day!
