My Students

More than half of my students are on an Individualized Education Plan, but we do not let our diagnosis define us. We overcome challenges together and appreciate the uniqueness in every person. In all areas, it is our goal to gear up for success. Students learn goal setting, evaluating their own success, assessing their personal growth, and learning and reflecting on objectives and how to make new goals. Students are set up for success not only in the classroom but for life.

My students are engaged in STEM to master state standards, build social skills, and build awareness of careers.

My Project

My students have a wide variety of interests, goals, and learning styles. Study.com provides instruction to meet state standards, career goals, and build life long learners with great study habits. Students will be engaged with short videos, interactive application skills, and engaged in a career path for each individual student.

Study.com will provide each student with individualized education, ability to explore careers, and high school students can earn college credit!

Curriculum is not a one size fits all. With over 27,000 courses students will have of opportunities to master goals, objectives, explore electives, career paths, and earn college credit.

This is my second year with study.com. Students are more motivated and more engaged in their curriculum. Students have gained confidence as they earned high school credits. Many students have actually asked for more assignments and more opportunities to explore careers.
