I live in an area with many low-income families. These families cannot always buy the books their children want to read. As a teacher, I also cannot afford to buy many of the high interest books.
My students have a displayed a love of reading that I want to foster.
Right now, my class is loving the Dog Man series and book similar to the Notebook of Doom. I want to give them more books they can enjoy, even those that struggle with reading will happily read a Dog Man book.
We have a library but unfortunately, we do not have many Dog Man books, we often run out before many of my students can have a chance to check them out. As a teacher I am asking for help with these books to foster a love of reading in these young minds!
