As we approach the second half of the school year, the middle school band needs provisions in order to have awesome Spring concerts.
We need Kindle Fire cases, violin and viola shoulder rests, a cello bow, and an acoustic guitar.
The band has four Kindle fire tables which serve as recorders for playing tests. We need cases to protect the devices from falls. We have 4 orchestral instruments that cannot be played because due to the lack of bow and neck rests. We need an acoustic guitar for performances where an amp is not available.
My Project
My students are using Kindle fire tablets in class to record playing tests, tune their instruments, and complete assignments in Google Classroom. We want our new technology to last a long while, and we need protective cases to make that happen.
The students are interested in starting a school orchestra and need their instruments to be fitted correctly.
We have a donated cello but we do not have a working bow for it. There are many students interested in starting on violin and viola but our instruments lack shoulder rests so the students are currently unable to hold their instruments properly. This makes it hard for them to succeed.
