Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Good teaching requires differentiation and that makes paper essential in the classroom. Our kinder classroom runs on small group instruction filled with differentiated supports through instruction and independent work. As a means of promoting independence and student agency within their learning, I create and use resources that immerse students with a specific skill.
This donation will allow me to create resources that support all learners' ability to read.
My students came to my classroom in August recognizing some letters of the alphabet. I would like to create a Word Work Mat and to support the reading of CVC and CVCV words.
What makes my students special is that they are part of the dual language immersion program.
