My students need an egg incubator and thermometer in order have a hands-on learning experience about the life cycle of chickens.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. C.'s classroom raised $315
This project is fully funded
I teach a group of special needs students, ages 10-15, in a high poverty area of South Carolina.
Hands-on experiences, such as egg incubation, enhance the learning process for my students. They love science activities, especially those dealing with living things.
With the incubation materials, students will be able to experience the hatching of chicken eggs. They will also develop a sense of responsibility because they will have to care for the eggs. Measuring temperatures, subtraction, observation, and calendar skills will also be addressed and built.
Your help will greatly enhance science learning experiences for a great group of students that will truly appreciate your efforts!
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
