Help me give my students the chance to discover the sheer wonder of life at the microscopic level. We need more microscopes, as well as a digital microscope so all students can share in the joy of discovery!

My Students
My students live in rural Hawai'i, in the district of Puna. On the slope of Kīlauea Volcano and in one of the rainiest parts of the country, a little rain or lava never stopped my kids. My students are excited to learn, goofy, incredibly compassionate, and above all--funny!
My Project
These materials will help ensure all students have access to a microscope. Being able to actually see life at the microscopic level will help to bring science to life for my students. Included is one compound microscope to add to our class, so students can work in groups no larger than 3, as well as a digital microscope. The digital microscope is beneficial so the class can all see together what's under the microscope. Also included are multiple slide which show the difference between eukaryotic cells and prokaryotic cells.
It's one thing to be told how cells are different, but a whole other to see for yourself!
