This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a group of creative and bright learners. The markers, crayons and colored pencils are supplies needed for work in the library. This will ensure that students are able to participate and have all of the tools they need when they attend their library class. We will working on projects and lessons that require basic coloring tools and these supplies make it so that they can leave their own supplies in their classroom.
Our school is working on a school wide literacy initiative.
We are hoping to use the toys and fidgets as incentives for students who are completing reading challenges that the school library will be holding. We would like to help all of our students develop a love for reading and improve on their reading skills. These incentive items will help engage and motivate our more reluctant readers.
