My Project

Hello, my name is Donna and I’m a teacher librarian in an amazing elementary school in downtown Long Beach. My goal is to instill a love for reading in my students and I’m looking to give our outdated facility a much needed revamp. I’m hoping to replace tattered books and empty shelves with new and up to date reading materials. Many families lack the means to donate to update the space, so how amazing would it be if we could make this a reality for them! I believe that an update to the space will help spark a passion for reading and support students in reaching reading proficiency. Thank you so much for your support!
