My students need a new color printer and ink cartridges.

My Students
Our little, public school Library serves the needs of a high poverty population, grades K-6, including many students from around the world. We are a Title One school, with 84% poverty, and have no technology money for a new color printer or ink. Our current color printer only works occasionally.
Our students and I would LOVE a new color printer with ink to print some of their work.
I also use a color printer (when it works) to print student photos for special displays and celebrations. Our students LOVE to see their pictures displayed!
I also make lots of instructional posters, signs and other items for display in our little library. Some of our students also print out some of their special projects and reading logs in the library on our printer.
My Project
Please help us get rid of our old, dying printer by getting a NEW color printer, with ink for a year. Even with new ink cartridges put in, running the printer tool box/clean up program, it still won't print decently. Must have some major design flaws.
Our current printer is no longer under warranty and we really need a working, reliable printer. With our new printer, we can print book covers to inspire students to read. Some of our students do special reports in our library, with maps or photos, for instance. Being able to print their work with colored illustrations makes them much more appealing. All our students would benefit in one way, or another, by having a library printer that works! A colorful library keeps our students excited.
Our Library and Technology budget has been eliminated for the last several years.
A new color printer does not qualify for any funding. We have no other school money as well. Our PTA only has three members and little funds, and no fundraisers in sight. Help keep our students excited and fill their lives with color. Sometimes the little things mean a LOT!
