My Project

Hi! I am a recently graduated first year teacher that is coming in half way through the year. I am currently with the sweetest 1st grade class, but am struggling on resources. My goal is to have a carpet that supports read - aloud, independent reading, and center time in math and reading.

My students LOVE reading, but I am struggling to find effective ways to promote independent reading without the option of moving around the classroom.

I would love to provide them with a comfy space to be in control of their own learning. Thank you for helping me and my students!
