My Students

Students are so excited to come back to the library and check out books after COVID restriction. I would like to have a space in my library to start the learning process. This would be done by adding to our Makerspace/STEM area. Maker spacers promotes the tinkering and creating learning process, which allows students to create their own individual ideas into reality. The makerspaces not only engages students to create and using deep process thinking, students become excited about their own ideas as makers. Maker spacers are full of useful tools such as: puzzles, legos, robots, color pencils, snap circuits, yarn, dash and dot, knitting looms.

My Project

The items in my MAKERSPACE area will be used to spark interest and imagination. This will allow students to be creative. This will make my library an attractive area for the students to visit. Once they visit they will see the other things I have to offer. This would also be great to encourage positive behavior and collaboration among students. My students enjoy doing hands on things. This will allow students to explore how to build and how pieces fit together. It also allows them to solve problems which will be useful for the real world.
