This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our community is super small. In total our Jr. High school has a total of 195 students. Funds are hard to come by because we are not given a yearly allowance for library updates. My goal is to replace our 25 shelves with brand new ones. Our shelves have not been updated in 1980s. I want to create a study corner for our students to come in and work on their assignments with the iPad. The two chairs would serve a wonderful corner for them. I want to continue pushing our students to come into the library and read! THANK YOU ALL. We are so grateful for your donations.
