This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Celebrate National Library Lovers Month (April) by showing this middle school library a little love! School budgets, especially for libraries, keep getting smaller and smaller. I'm happy to report though that our needs (kids' access to books) just keep growing! Help us get some basic library tools (number pads, scanners, date stamp, etc.) to replace old/faulty/nonexistent supplies. We also want to offer book repair so that we can keep books on the shelves for kids as long as possible, even after they've seen a lot of love! I'd also like to create ID badges for library staff so that our patrons can quickly identify someone when they need help. Thank you for your support!
