My Students

My students are all vibrant young middle schoolers. They are not only dealing with the struggles of middle school but are at the same time learning English. The majority of my students have only been in the country for a very short time and many of these students spent last year working fully remote.

My Project

Help give our classroom library a lift. New books are always the ones that are grabbed off the shelves first! This variety of texts will give a boost to our current classroom library, New books are always helpful when trying to motivate students and increase their desire to read.

These books will mostly be kept in our classroom for reading during the school day, but after some time will be allowed to be taken home for independent reading at home.

By adding these books to our library, students will see some new texts along with additional copies of some classroom favorites.
