This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This amazing library of books will give my students with special needs lots of engaging books to read to our teaching assistant with visual impairment. He can follow along with the students on a braille version of the book and everyone can enjoy these books together.
When we read books aloud, it makes stories come alive.
This will give my students a huge advantage by giving them oodles of books that they can read at their level. They will have the opportunity to make connections, discuss ideas, and become scholars.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
