My Students

I have a classroom of 12 students who have been classified as on the autism spectrum. These children have some behavior problems due to poor social skills. They need fine motor and sensory tools in order to make them learn the best way they can!

These students are from ages 9-11 and require specific materials in order to grow the best they can!

As special needs students, they did not have a consistent classroom teacher or any supplies last year. I want these students to feel loved and grow!

My Project

My students barely have seats in this classroom, and there are ZERO shelves in this room to hold books, please contribute to a classroom that supports reading instruction. The bookshelves will hold texts and student work while the wobble students will give a variety of options of where to sit.

These materials will make a difference to students by keeping everything organized and not letting student's social frustrations of things being messy get to them.

Students will also benefit from being able to self soothe on their wobble chair when in small groups to help their instruction. By having seat pockets to put their belongings in, arguments will deteriorate because students will know if materials are theirs or not.
