This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are very hard workers, and they are very engaged when working in centers. My students come to class eager to learn, and they keep trying even when they are challenged. I make sure to differentiate all work so that all students feel successful every day.
My students are very diverse.
My school is a low-income public charter school with a focus on science and math. I make sure they have many hands-on activities to be engaged in.
We serve K-7 with the focus on preparing the students for college.
My Project
Please help me make an organized library center in my class so my students can develop a love for reading.
We do not have a library at our school so many students do not have the opportunity to pick up a book and read.
I believe that giving the students an opportunity to view a variety of different books gives them an opportunity to develop that love for reading. This library cart will give me an opportunity to have an organized place for the the students to be able to check in and out books.
