This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am asking for a new sturdy mobile library cart that can store all our books and keep students safe. The new library cart will be able to keep the wheels locked so that we have no issues with the library cart tilting over. Having a new library cart will keep students reading so they can continue to become successful readers and writers. My students have gotten back into the groove this school year after being on the computer for the last 2 academic years. They are learning how to love books again as a lot of them have been playing more and more video games during the pandemic. I would like to spread the love of reading amongst all my students year after year. But, it starts with a very organized and inviting library center. As we all know, being able to read well is the key to success!
