Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will be put in the classroom library so students can read and check out to take home with them. They are good books for positive representation and identity building. I hope to create a nook in the classroom that is inviting and welcoming. This will promote students to be more excited to read and discuss. I also want to ensure all students feel seen and heard through the supplies and books that are in the classroom and around the room. Students have requested many of these books and are excited to read them.
