Library Books and Digital Learning With BrainPop!

Help me give my students some new graphic novels to checkout from the library. Plus a subscription to Brain Pop so I can use the videos for introductions to digital citizenship, plagiarism, and use of citations.

My Project

My project of library books and digital learning with BrainPop will help my students in many ways. First of all, students love reading the graphic novels because they are colorful and fun. Graphic novels help get those reluctant readers get "hooked" on reading without the use of just novels. Graphic novels give students the independence to read what they like. BrainPop is an exciting digital tool. The videos with Tim and Moby on BrainPop help introduce such topics as digital citizenship, plagiarism, citation writing and many more topics in social studies and science. All these things I teach during my research skills unit. Both reading and research are necessary for the future success of our students. This is why I hope you approve my project.
