My Students
As the library media specialist at the school, I see every student in the school. Our students come from very diverse backgrounds. Our low poverty school is in a low poverty school district. Many students have families that struggle to make ends meet, but even with these struggles at home our students strive to be the best. We have students with learning disabilities at varying degrees, Autism, and other health problems that hinder their learning. Our school has students that English is their second language even students who don't speak any English. Our school continues to be a great performing school even with all our diversity.
My Project
Germs, germs, germs are every where. It seems like someone is always getting sick. Every day! I am asking for cleaning supplies to help keep the germs away! The Clorox wipes will help me clean the student tables, computer keyboards, chairs, door knobs, and books. The Clorox wipes will help with the spreading of germs. We know that attendance matters. If the students are well and not getting sick, they can be at school learning the skills they need to be successful in their school life. Being well is very important to make sure they are getting all of the subject matter they need to learn!
