Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Gender and Sexuality Alliance advisors at our school are putting together as many items as we can prep our building for the first week. We are putting together LGBTQ+ pins, buttons, stickers, and flags to show our students that all are welcome regardless of their gender identity and sexual orientation.
Help us show the most vulnerable of all students that our school is an inclusive and safe place for all through our LGBTQ+ Welcome Packages.
We will hand out all items to different classrooms and throughout the building. The banner flags will get placed in the front of our school where all students will walk in on the first day. The smaller flags and safe space stickers are going to as many teachers' classrooms as possible.
