Help me give my students some new science books and some simple machines to increase their scientific knowledge, inspire conversation and pique their curiosity!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Collin's classroom raised $561

My Students
Our first grade class is comprised of 32 children, most of whom are from other parts of the world. Our multicultural room is full of enthusiastic learners. Often the experiences they enjoy at school are first time events. Their access to quality materials is limited by our incredibly minuscule budget. It does not allow for anything but the most basic supplies that must be shared.
We strive to provide meaningful quality experiences for our children but we need your help because it is impossible to do it alone.
We respectfully request your assistance in making a difference in the experiences we are able to provide. Your donation is much needed and much appreciated.
My Project
Hello. I would like to expand my science center and give my children some wooden simple machine models and science books. They are lacking in this area and are in need of some new equipment.
Wooden simple machines and new science books will show children how machines work and what they can do, help to pique their curiosity and keep them thinking about what they see in the world around them.
Children will become aware of the simple machines in their everyday lives. Children will expand their thinking in new and creative ways to solve problems. Child will read age appropriate books and understand simple science concepts.
