This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in an impoverished community in the Bronx with wonderful kids who are willing and ready to learn. My students are bright-minded and full of energy and creativity, which I love to nurture. They love to learn about new ideas that relate to them.

My Project

With the changes of the new school year, students and staff rely heavily on technology. Students and staff have been using Google classroom and other online add-ons to help get through the last year and a half. With students being back in the building, the blend between analog and digital have merged into one, and having the latest tech is vital.

Technology is always evolving, just like educators and students, which is why keeping up with the latest tech is vital.

When students have access to working tech, the stress of doing assignments is lessened. When teachers have access to working tech, it increases the ability for us to reach our students. Please help support the tech update with a monitor, speakers, hard drive, and headphones for our students.
