My Project
As a dedicated educator, I always believe that great teaching starts with continued learning. I have been constantly seeking ways to grow professionally so I can provide the best possible education for my students. To do that, I’m requesting a reliable computer that will allow me to access virtual webinars, online courses, and other valuable resources that are currently out of reach. While my school has provided a computer, it has limited access to websites and resources outside our district’s approved platforms. Many professional development webinars and online courses I want to attend are inaccessible through this device. There are also educational apps and software specifically designed for physics instruction that are not compatible with the school-issued computer and I’m unable to download or run them due to restrictions.
Having a computer would allow me to join virtual webinars and complete online courses; download and use interactive physics apps and simulations; and create richer, more engaging learning experiences for my students.
This computer will not only help me grow as an educator, but it will also directly benefit my students. The more I learn, the more strategies and tools I can bring into the classroom to make complex concepts easier to understand and more exciting to explore.
