Help me give my students books on their level to build confidence in reading groups!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Koch's classroom raised $316

My Students
My students are children who are struggling readers that are two or three grade levels behind in their reading abilities. I pull them from their classrooms to target specific phonics and reading skills. I also teach them reading strategies for sounding out words, chunking words, and breaking words into pieces. These students are in third and fourth grade and sadly some have anxiety and insecurities about reading. They are excited to strengthen their reading abilities.
My 3rd and 4th graders are fun-loving kids that are excited to strengthen their reading abilities.
Join me in building a classroom that fosters positive vibes and instruction to fill the gaps in reading abilities for these students.
My Project
My project is to build a leveled library so that my students can read books on their level or slightly above with intervention lessons and guided reading. This will give these students more confidence as they read and encourage them to grow and make progress in their reading abilities.
By putting books in the hands of students that they can actually read, I can target specific areas of reading deficit and teach students in the area where they are while challenging them to read slightly above their level as they grow in their reading ability.
