My Students

There are many little ways to enlarge your child's world. Love of books is the best of all." Jacqueline Kennedy. I am trying to capture and challenge my students to become more fluent readers.

I am a public school teacher in the state of Georgia.

My school poverty level has increased due to the economic situation of our economy. I have between 20-24 students per year in my third grade classroom. I am in need of help in getting my leveled books up to date. I would appreciate any support you could give!!

My Project

I am in need to leveled books to teach my students. Our school does not currently have a book room to check out leveled books. The leveled books that I do have are from a reading series that is 7 years old. I would like to get new books that are updated for the children. I am in need of multiple copies so that each child can have their own book during reading time. My students will use these books to make connections in their reading so that they can become better readers!

This is important to me because it is something that I cannot financially provide for my kids.

I spend a lot of my own classroom money every week, but getting multiple copies of these books is out of my reach. My kids and I would appreciate any help you could give.
