My Students
Children need to explore a variety of texts in order to grow as readers.
My students are children on the cusp of literacy success but need motivational texts to keep them engaged in reading. They are students who respond to a variety of genres and media. They currently work out of a reading program that needs supplemental titles for the levels G through K.
My Project
These titles will help meet the growing demands of the Common Core State Standards that our students are expected to meet. These titles also provide richer experiences in the nonfiction genre that will further develop their informational literacy skills.
